3.5-magnitude quake hits Samar
(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Samar early Saturday, Sept. 5. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 3:36 a.m., had its epicenter five kilometers northeast of Santa Rita. It had a depth of 23 kilometers and was tectonic in origin. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

(Eagle News)-The Manila International Airport Authority has released its list of operational commercial flights for Saturday, Sept. 5: MIAA said flight schedules may be subject to changes. All passengers were advised to get confirmation of their flights on the same day they are supposed to be scheduled. Additional 3,714 COVID-19 cases push PHL tally to 232,072
