(Eagle News)–A 3.7-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Thursday, Oct. 8. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 4:53 a.m., had its epicenter 130 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos. It had a depth of 29 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
