Tropical depression approaches eastern boundary of PAR, to be named “Rolly”

(Eagle News)–The tropical depression east of Central Luzon has maintained its strength as it moved towards the eastern boundary of the Philippine Area of Responsibility. 3.9-magnitude quake hits Batanes

(Eagle News)–A 3.9-magnitude earthquake struck off Batanes on Wednesday, Oct. 28. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake struck at  7:37 a.m. It had its epicenter 29 kilometers southwest of Itbayat, and was tectonic in origin. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
