DILG nears target of 50,000 more contact tracers as it eyes additional hires this week

(Eagle News)–The Department of the Interior and Local Government is nearing its target of hiring 50,000 contact tracers to help in the country’s fight against COVID-19. In a statement, Interior Secretary Eduardo Año said 46,338 are now “embedded” in localities, while the remaining will be hired this week. Sanofi says its vaccine won’t need supercooling

(Eagle News)–Six more overseas Filipinos have tested positive for COVID-19. The Department of Foreign Affairs said with the additional cases, the tally rose to 11528.
