Senator Dela Rosa tests positive for COVID-19

(Eagle News)–Senator Ronald dela Rosa has tested positive for COVID-19. The senator made the announcement on his Facebook account on Saturday, Nov. 21. “I am sorry to inform [you] that I tested positive for [COVID-19] yesterday. To all who made contact with me [please] do the [proper] protocols,” he said. Earlier, Senators Juan Miguel Zubiri, Sonny Angara and Koko Pimentel tested positive for COVID-19. They have all since recovered.

Northeast monsoon affects extreme N. Luzon

(Eagle News)–The northeast monsoon is affecting extreme Northern Luzon. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration saide Batanes and Babuyan Islands will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains as a result. Extreme Northern Luzon will also have moderate winds and coastal waters. The minimum temperature expected is 23.2°C at 5 a.m. Maximum Temperature is at 32.8°C at 3:30 p.m.

49 more police personnel recover from COVID-19

(Eagle News)–Forty-nine more police personnel have recovered from COVID-19. The Philippine National Police said with the additional recoveries, the PNP recovery total rose to 7412. Twenty-eight additional COVID-19 cases, however, pushed the COVID-19 total to 7799. Of these, 362 were active. There were no additional deaths reported, which means the death toll was still at 25. PHL COVID-19 cases reach 415,067; 305 more recoveries reported

(Eagle News)–COVID-19 cases in the country breached the 415,000 mark on Friday, Nov. 20, after the Department of Health reported 1639 additional cases. The DOH said of the total 415067 COVID-19 cases, 31805 or 7.7 percent were active.
