The Philippine government has opened its 138th Malasakit Center at the Sulu Sanitarium in Jolo, Sulu on Friday, Sept. 3. DOH reports 20,019 additional COVID-19 cases

(Eagle News) — COVID-19 cases in the Philippines climbed to 2,080,984 after the Department of Health reported 20019 additional cases. According to the DOH, of the total cases, 157438 are active. Of these, 92 percent are mild, 3.4 percent asymptomatic, 0.7 percent are critical, 1.4 percent are severe, and 2.51 percent are moderate. DFA repatriates 67 Filipinos from Cambodia

(Eagle News) — Sixty-seven Filipinos recently arrived in the Philippines after they were repatriated by the government from Cambodia. The Department of Foreign Affairs said the repatriates, which included two minors, 12 senior citizens, and one pregnant woman, arrived in the country via a sweeper flight that also repatriated Filipinos from Laos, and Myanmar. PNP reports 219 more COVID-19 cases

(Eagle News) — Over 200 more police personnel have tested positive for COVID-19. According to Philippine National Police data released on Sunday, Sept. 5, the additional 219 cases pushed the total COVID-19 cases in the police force to 35,561. Of these, 2181 were active.
