According to the Manila International Airport Authority, the following flights are cancelled: Cebu Pacific (5J) 5J 196/197 Manila-Cauayan (Isabela)-Manila Air Swift (T6) T6 5110/5111 Manila-Puerto Princesa-Manila Signal No. 1 remains raised over the northern portion of Palawan including Calamian Islands due to Tropical Depression “Lannie.” “Lannie” is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Thursday morning.

Eleazar orders thorough probe into Bicol University blasts

DFA reports 40 more COVID-19 cases among Filipinos abroad

(Eagle News) — Forty more overseas Filipinos have tested positive for COVID-19. According to the Department of Foreign Affairs, the additional cases pushed the total COVID-19 cases among Filipinos outside the country to 23,317. The DFA said 87 new recoveries also pushed the total COVID-19 recovery tally to 13,552. Two additional deaths pushed the death toll to 1389. Facebook blames major outage on router work

PNP welcomes 117 new technical service officers

(Eagle News) — Over 100 licensed professionals took their oaths as new police commissioned officers of the Philippine National Police. The newly-inducted technical service officers include four lawyers, three medico-legal officers, one chaplain and two medical doctors. 4.2-magnitude quake hits Isabela

(Eagle News) — A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck Isabela on Tuesday, Oct. 5. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 5:31 a.m. It had its epicenter three kilometers northwest of Cordon. The depth of focus was one kilometer.
