(Eagle News)–A 3.9-magnitude earthquake rocked Davao Oriental on Monday, May 13. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake struck 83 kilometers southeast of General Generoso at 6:55 a.m. The earthquake, which was of tectonic origin, had a depth of focus of 17 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
5.2-magnitude quake hits Cagayan
(Eagle News)–A 5.2-magnitude earthquake struck Cagayan on Sunday, May 12. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 38 kilometers northwest of Calayan at 4:59 p.m. An intensity III was reported in Aparri, Cagayan.
