(Eagle News)–A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck Eastern Samar on Thursday, May 9.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, an aftershock of the 6.5-magnitude quake that hit the province on April 26, struck 77 kilometers northeast of San Julian at 2:38 p.m.
The depth of focus was 36 kilometers.
Intensity I was felt in Borongan City.
PHIVOLCS said no damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
