DOJ to probe attack on broadcaster in Sultan Kudarat

(Eagle News)–The Department of Justice will probe the shooting of a broadcaster in Sultan Kudarat earlier this week. Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra said the agency would “take on (the) case” of Benjie Abdul Caballero, who is in critical condition after he was shot by two men on board a motorcycle in Tacurong. At least 19 killed after truck in Apayao falls into 20-meter deep ravine

  (Eagle News) — At least 19 people died, while 22 others were seriously injured after a truck they were riding in fell into a 20-meter deep ravine in Apayao province on Thursday night, Oct. 31. 4.6-magnitude quake hits Cotabato

(Eagle News)–A 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck Cotabato early Friday, Nov. 1, after  a 6.5-magnitude earthquake struck the province. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 13 kilometers southwest of Makilala at 1:35 a.m. Depth of focus was 14 kilometers. The following intensity and instrumental intensity were recorded: Intensity: Intensity IV- Kidapawan City Instrumental Intensity: Intensity IV- Kidapawan City No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

LTFRB dismisses 14 employees from Bicol office for alleged corruption
