(Eagle News) — A rainfall advisory has been hoisted over parts of Northern Luzon. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said light to moderate with occasional heavy rains are expected over Aurora and Dinapigue and Palanan in Isabela as the northeast monsoon affects Luzon. PAGASA said these conditions may persist within two to three hours. “All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards,” PAGASA said.

(Eagle News) — A 3.8-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Friday, Feb. 7. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 7:20 a.m., had its epicenter 93 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos. Depth of focus was 13 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
4.5-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental
(Eagle News) — A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Friday, Feb. 7. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 2:27 a.m., had its epicenter 107 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos. It had a depth of focus of 17 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
