PNP: Almost 8,000 barangays classified as election hotspots

(Eagle News) – The Philippine National Police said so far, almost 8000 barangays were included in its list of election hotspots. PNP Spokesperson Chief Superintendent John Bulalacao said that as of May 6, 2018, the 7,915 barangays were in that category because of the presence of election-related violence.
