(Eagle News) — Three children were killed in a fire that hit a residential area in Pasig City on Monday, May 14.
Authorities identified the fatalities as John Andrew Navidas, 4; his sister Princess Joy, 7; and brother BJ, 2.
The burnt bodies of the children were found after arson investigators put out the fire that began in the children’s house on San Isidro Street, Centennial 2, Nagpayong 2, Barangay Pinagbuhatan past 6 a.m.
Based on initial investigation, the children’s mother left the stove on when she went to buy something at a nearby store.
Another house was destroyed by the fire.
Cost of damage has yet to be determined.
