MMDA: Number-coding scheme lifted tomorrow, Jan. 13

(Eagle News)-The number-coding scheme is lifted for all vehicles tomorrow, Jan. 13. The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority suspended the scheme after the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology upgraded the alert status of the volcano. The volcano is currently on alert level 4, which means a hazardous eruption is imminent. PHIVOLCS has recommended an evacuation from the volcano island and additional areas within a 14-kilometer radius of the volcano.

MIAA temporarily suspends flight ops at NAIA after Taal spews ash
