Revilla wants prior automatic promotion for gov’t employees who reach mandatory age of retirement

(Eagle News)–Senator Bong Revilla has filed a bill that, if passed, would allow the prior promotion of government employees who have reached the mandatory age of retirement. 5.0-magnitude quake strikes off Catanduanes

(Eagle News)–A 5.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Catanduanes early Saturday, Sept. 21. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit off 51 kilometers northeast of Panganiban at 2:04 a.m. Depth of focus was 31 kilometers. An instrumental intensity II was recorded in Legazpi. There was no damage to property but aftershocks were recorded.

DOH confirms second case of polio in 19 years

DOJ now says President’s directive on re-arrest of GCTA-freed convicts who did not surrender within the deadline stands
