Comelec on BSKE 2023: Canvassing of ballots completed

(Eagle News)–The canvassing of ballots cast during the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections has been 100% completed, the  Commission on Elections said. (Eagle News) — A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck Leyte on Monday, Oct. 30. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 7:13 p.m. Its epicenter was  six kilometers northeast of Kananga. According to PHIVOLCS, the depth of focus was 13 kilometers. The following instrumental intensity was reported: Intensity V – Ormoc City, Leyte No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

Over 1,000 nabbed for violating BSKE gun ban: PNP

(Eagle News)–Over 1000 people have been nabbed for violating the gun ban in place for the upcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections, the Philippine National Police said.
