4.0-magnitude quake strikes off Sarangani

(Eagle News)–A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Sarangani on Monday, June 21. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 12:30 p.m. It had its epicenter 84 kilometers southwest of Kiamba. The depth of focus was 480 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

(Eagle News)–A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck off Sarangani early Wednesday, May 20. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 3:38 a.m., had its epicenter 35 kilometers southwest of Glan. It had a depth of 21 kilometers. The following instrumental intensities were recorded: Intensity I – Alabel and Malungon, Sarangani; General Santos City No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.

(Eagle News)—A 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Sunday, May 5. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 203 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 7:51 a.m. The depth of focus of the quake was 90 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

(Eagle News) — Two earthquakes jolted Sarangani, Davao Occidental early Tuesday, Jan. 22, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said. The first earthquake, a 5.1-magnitude one, struck at 12:47 a.m. Its epicenter, PHIVOLCS said, was located 249 kilometers southeast of Sarangani. (Eagle News) — Niyanig ng magnitude 3.6 na lindol ang bayan ng Sarangani sa lalawigan ng Davao Occidental. Ayon sa Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS), naitala ang pagyanig sa 65 kilometers south ng Sarangani, kaninang umaga bandang 6:59.
