4.5-magnitude quake hits Sarangani

(Eagle News)–A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck off Sarangani early Wednesday, May 20.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 3:38 a.m., had its epicenter 35 kilometers southwest of Glan.

It had a depth of 21 kilometers.

The following instrumental intensities were recorded:

Intensity I – Alabel and Malungon, Sarangani; General Santos City

No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.
