The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 1:45 a.m. It had its epicenter 27 kilometers southeast of Glan. It had a depth of 18 kilometers. (Eagle News) — A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck off Sarangani early Friday, December 11. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 2:40 a.m., had its epicenter 63 kilometers southwest of Kiamba. It had a depth of 486 kilometers and was tectonic in origin. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
