(Eagle News)-A 3.3-magnitude earthquake struck Sarangani on Sunday, Dec. 29.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 19 kilometers northwest of Malungon at 3:43 a.m.
Depth of focus was 30 kilometers.
The following instrumental intensities were recorded:
Intensity I -Tupi, South Cotabato; Malungon, Sarangani
No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
