(Eagle News)–The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration is monitoring a low pressure area east of Davao. PAGASA said the LPA is located  460 kilometers east of the city. (Eagle News)–A rainfall advisory has been hoisted over parts of Northern Luzon due to the easterlies affecting the eastern section of the country. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to heavy rains are affecting portions of Isabela, particularly Palanan and Ilagan; Mt.Province, particularly Paracelis; Kalinga specifically in Tanudan; and in Apayao, in Conner and Kabugao. (Eagle News)–The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration is monitoring an active tropical cyclone outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility. PAGASA said tropical storm “Matmo” is located 895 kilometers west of southern Luzon, packing maximum sustained winds of 65 kph and gustiness of up to 80 kph. It is moving northwest at 20 kph. (Eagle News)–A thunderstorm advisory has been hoisted over Metro Manila. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are also expected over Bulacan, Laguna and Rizal within the next two hours.
