(Eagle News)–A 5.5-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Davao Occidental early Saturday, April 11. This was hours after a 6.0-magnitude quake hit Basco, Batanes. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 141 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos at 2:45 a.m., more than two hours after the Basco quake. 3.8-magnitude quake hits Cagayan

(Eagle News)–A 3.8-magnitude earthquake struck Cagayan on Friday, April 10. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 8:27 a.m., had its epicenter 44 kilometers northwest of Claveria. It had a depth of focus of 20 kilometers. An instrumental intensity II was recorded in  Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.5-magnitude quake hits Batanes

(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck off Batanes early Thursday, April 9. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 5:12 a.m., had its epicenter 21 kilometers southwest of Sabtang. It had a depth of focus of one kilometer. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.7-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 3.7-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Wednesday, April 8. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 2:37 a.m., had its epicenter 350 kilometers southeast of Sarangani. It had a depth of focus of 2 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.4-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 3.4-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Sunday, April 5. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 10:39 a.m., hit 49 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos. Depth of focus was 126 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.    

3.0-magnitude quake hits Occidental Mindoro

(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Occidental Mindoro today. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 4:33 a.m., had its epicenter 38 kilometers southwest of Lubang. Depth of focus was 18 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

4.5-magnitude quake hits E. Samar

(Eagle News)–A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck Eastern Samar today. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 6:29 a.m., had its epicenter 91 kilometers southeast of Guiuan. It had a depth of focus of 20 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

4.5-magnitude quake hits Negros Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck Negros Occidental on Thursday, April 2. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 2:42 p.m., had its epicenter 37 kilometers northwest of Sipalay. It had a depth of focus of eight kilometers. The following instrumental intensities were recorded: Instrumental Intensities: Intensity III – Sipalay City, Negros Occidental Intensity II – Bago City, Negros Occidental No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.9-magnitude quake hits Cagayan

(Eagle News)–A 3.9-magnitude earthquake struck off Cagayan today, April 1. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 1:49 p.m., had its epicenter 62 kilometers northwest of Santa Ana. It had a depth of focus of one kilometer. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.6-magnitude quake hits N. Samar

(Eagle News)–A 3.6-magnitude earthquake struck Northern Samar on Wednesday, April 1. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 9:57 a.m., had its epicenter 44 kilometers northeast of Laoang. It had a depth of focus of 13 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

6.5 magnitude quake hits US state of Idaho

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 11:41 a.m., had its epicenter 54 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos. It had a depth of focus of 49 kilometers. An instrumental Intensity I was felt in Malungon, Sarangani. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
