3.6-magnitude quake hits N. Samar

(Eagle News)–A 3.6-magnitude earthquake struck Northern Samar on Wednesday, April 1.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 9:57 a.m., had its epicenter 44 kilometers northeast of Laoang.

It had a depth of focus of 13 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
