3.5-magnitude quake hits Batanes

(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck off Batanes early Thursday, April 9.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 5:12 a.m., had its epicenter 21 kilometers southwest of Sabtang.

It had a depth of focus of one kilometer.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
