4.5-magnitude quake hits E. Samar

(Eagle News)–A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck Eastern Samar today.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 6:29 a.m., had its epicenter 91 kilometers southeast of Guiuan.

It had a depth of focus of 20 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
