PMA: Negligence of two swimming instructors resulted in cadet’s death

(Eagle News) — There was negligence on the part of two Philippine Military Academy swimming instructors that resulted in the death of  Cadet Fourth Class Mario Telan Jr., the military school said on Friday, Nov. 22. Another PMA cadet dies, body found at bottom of PMA pool

(Eagle News)–Another Philippine Military Academy cadet has died. The PMA said Cadet 4th Class Mario Telen, Jr. was found dead in the 15-foot deep end of the PMA pool. Telen had been unaccounted for after he attended his swimming class from 11 a.m. to 12 noon, the PMA said. He was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival at the PMA Station Hospital.
