Baguio police: No indications of foul play so far in death of PMA cadet in pool

(Eagle News)–There are so far no indications of foul play in the drowning of a Philippine Military Academy cadet in the school’s pool.

In an interview over radio dzbb on Saturday, Nov. 9,  Baguio City police chief Police Colonel Allen Rae Co said 4th Class Mario Telen Jr. was not a strong swimmer based on the initial information gathered by the police.

“Fifteen feet po ang lalim ng pool,” Co said.

He said they were looking at possible lapses of swimming instructors and would wait for the autopsy of the body.

He said the autopsy would “solidify” the initial results of their  investigation.
