(Eagle News)–A 3.9-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Sunday, July 5. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 4:21 a.m., had its epicenter 23 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos. It had a depth of 101 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

4.3-magnitude quake hits Negros Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 4.3-magnitude earthquake hit Negros Occidental today, July 4. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 5:17 a.m., had its epicenter 143 kilometers southwest of Sipalay. It had a depth of 30 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

4.8-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News) — A 4.8-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Friday, July 3. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 3 a.m., had its epicenter 157 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos. It had a depth of 81 kilometers. An instrumental intensity II was recorded in Malungon, Sarangani. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.1-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 3.1-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental early Thursday, July 2. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 2:34 a.m., had its epicenter 138 kilometers of Sarangani. It had a depth of 128 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.5-magnitude quake hits Eastern Samar

(Eagle News)– A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Eastern Samar on Monday, June 29. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 10:20 a.m., had its epicenter 19 kilometers northeast of San Julian. It had a depth of 15 kilometers. The following intensities were reported: Intensity III – San Julian and Borongan, Eastern Samar Intensity II -Sulat, Eastern Samar No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

(Eagle News)–Several  earthquakes and moderate plume emission were monitored at Kanlaon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said in Monday, June 29. PHIVOLCS said of the earthquakes  at the volcano, which remains on alert level 1, 16 were  volcano-tectonic earthquakes on the western flanks and four volcanic earthquakes in the summit area. (Eagle News)–Thirty-one earthquakes and moderate emission of plumes were monitored at Kanlaon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said on Sunday, June 28. According to PHIVOLCS, of the 31 recorded at the volcano which remains on alert level 1, the 30 were volcano-tectonic earthquakes  on the western flanks and one  a volcanic earthquake in the summit area. (Eagle News)–Seven earthquakes and  moderate plume emission have been monitored at Kanlaon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said on Saturday, June 27.
