(Eagle News)–A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck Batangas on Saturday, May 15. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 11:04 a.m. It had its epicenter 13 kilometers southwest of Calatagan. The depth of focus was 94 kilometers. The following instrumental intensities were reported: Intensity II – Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro; Tagaytay City, Cavite Intensity I – Calatagan, Batangas; San Ildefonso, Bulacan No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
