DFA repatriates over 3,000 Filipinos last week

(Eagle News) –Over 3,000 overseas Filipinos were repatriated last week amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The Department of Foreign Affairs said the additional repatriates brought the total number of Filipinos repatriated since the start of repatriation efforts in February 2020 to 372,730. DFA repatriates over 3,000 Filipinos abroad during the third week of January

(Eagle News) — The Department of Foreign Affairs said it repatriated over 3,000 overseas Filipinos during the third week of January. Of the 3,288 Filipinos abroad repatriated, the DFA said 470 were seafarers while 2,818 were land-based. DFA repatriates 40 more Filipinos stranded in North Sulawesi, Indonesia

(Eagle News)–Forty more Filipinos stranded in North Sulawesi, Indonesia have been repatriated. The Department of Foreign Affairs said the repatriates, who represent the second batch of Filipinos to be repatriated from  Manado, were fetched by the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) vessel BRP Tubbataha (MRRV-4401) on  October 15. DFA repatriates 129 Filipinos from Thailand over the weekend

(Eagle News)–The number of Filipinos repatriated from Thailand rose to 1581 over the weekend after the government repatriated over 100. In a statement, the Department of Foreign Affairs said the 129 took their flight from the Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok on Aug. 29. DFA: 352 Filipinos recently repatriated from Saudi Arabia

(Eagle News) –Over 300 Filipinos from Saudi Arabia were recently repatriated amid the COVID-19 pandemic, as the Department of Foreign Affairs continues its repatriation efforts.
