The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 6:32 a.m., had its epicenter 73 kilometers northwest of Calayan. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 41 kilometers northeast of Claveria at 5:37 a.m. Depth of focus was 17 kilometers. An instrumental intensity II was felt in Pasuquin, Tarlac. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 40 kilometers northeast of Claveria at 6:54 a.m. Depth of focus was 21 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

JUST IN: 3.0-magnitude quake hits Cagayan

(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Cagayan on Sunday, Aug. 25. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 9 kilometers southwest of Claveria at 2:59 p.m. Depth of focus was 11 kilometers. An instrumental intensity I was felt in Claveria. No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.
