3.8-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental early Thursday

(Eagle News)–A 3.8-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Thursday, Oct. 22. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 3:52 a.m., had its epicenter 86 kilometers southwest of Sarangani. It had a depth of 15 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

(Eagle News)–Seventy-seven more police personnel have recovered from COVID-19. The Philippine National Police said the increase pushed the recovery total to 6240 as of Wednesday night. (Eagle News)–Ten more Filipinos abroad have recovered from COVID-19. The Department of Foreign Affairs said the additional recoveries pushed the recovery tally to 7244 as of Wednesday.
