(Eagle News) — A 3.7-magnitude earthquake struck off Eastern Samar early Thursday, Nov. 26. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 1:28 a.m., had its epicenter 83 kilometers southeast of Guiuan. It had a depth of 49 kilometers.
