PHL reports 8,355 additional COVID-19 cases; total at 803,398

(Eagle News) — Philippine COVID-19 cases reached 803398 on Monday, April 5, after the Department of Health reported 8355 additional cases. According to DOH data, of the total cases, 143726 were active. Of these, 97.5 percent were mild, 1.1 percent asymptomatic, 0.5 percent were critical, 0.6 percent severe, and 0.34 percent were moderate. Recoveries rose to 646237 including the 145 additional ones.
