  (Eagle News) — Philippine COVID-19 cases reached 819,164 on Wednesday, April 7, after the Department of Health reported 6,414 additional cases. According to DOH data, of the total cases, 158,701 were active. Of these, 97.5 percent were mild, 1.2 percent asymptomatic, 0.5 percent critical, 0.5 percent were severe, and 0.3 percent were moderate.
