President Duterte visits wake of Surigao del Sur Gov. Vicente Pimentel Jr.
(Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte visited on Friday night the wake of Surigao del Sur Gov. Vicente Pimentel Jr. Rep. Johnny Pimentel, the governor’s brother, posted pictures of the President’s visit. The governor died on Tuesday, Dec. 25, a day after he checked out from the hospital. He was 71. His wake is at the Manila Memorial Park in Parañaque. His remains will be flown to Surigao del Sur on Saturday.

(Eagle News) — A Pasig court has found the brother of the late Abu Sayyaf leader Khadaffy Janjalani and another guilty of abducting students and teachers in Basilan in 2000.
