The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, an aftershock of the 5.5-magnitude quake that hit Surigao del Norte on April 26, hit 86 kilometers southeast of General Luna at 5:39 a.m. The quake had a depth of focus of 1 kilometer. No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.
