(Eagle News)–A 3.1-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Norte on Monday, May 6.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 38 kilometers northeast of Burgos at 5:18 a.m.
The depth of focus of the quake was 8 kilometers.
No damage to property nor aftershocks are expected.
