3.3-magnitude quake hits Cotabato

(Eagle News)–A 3.3-magnitude earthquake struck Cotabato on Wednesday, Nov. 20. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 19 kilometers southeast of Tulunan at 7:49 a.m. Depth of focus was one kilometer. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.  

Orange rainfall warning hoisted over Santa Ana, Cagayan

(Eagle News)–An orange rainfall warning has been hoisted over a portion of Cagayan. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said flooding is threatening in flood-prone areas in Santa Ana in particular. A yellow warning level, on the other hand, is hoisted over Abulug, Ballesteros, Pamplona and Sanchez Mira. Moderate to occasionally heavy rains are expected over Abulug, Ballesteros, Pamplona and Sanchez Mira in Cagayan, and these may persist within one to two hours. […]

4.0-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Sur

(Eagle News)–A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur on Tuesday, Nov. 19. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 82 kilometers northeast of Lingig at 8:39 a.m. Depth of focus was 1 kilometer. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

4.0-magnitude quake hits Quezon

(Eagle News)–A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck Quezon on Monday, Nov. 18. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 42 kilometers northeast of Jomalig at 4:35 a.m. Depth of focus was 8 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.8-magnitude earthquake hits Cotabato

(Eagle News)–A 3.8-magnitude earthquake struck Cotabato on Sunday, Nov. 17. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 23 kilometers northeast of Tulunan at 6:15 a.m. The following intensity and instrumental intensity were recorded: Intensity: Intensity IV – Kidapawan City Instrumental Intensity: Intensity III – Kidapawan City No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

4.3-magnitude quake jolts Bukidnon; Intensity III felt in Davao City

(Eagle News)–A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck Bukidnon on Saturday, Nov. 16. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 8 kilometers northwest of Kadilingan at 9:36 a.m. The following intensities and instrumental intensities were recorded: Intensities: Intensity III – Davao City Intensity II – Kidapawan City Instrumental Intensity: Intensity II – Cagayan de Oro City Intensity I – Kidapawan City No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

3.4-magnitude quake hits Quezon

(Eagle News)–A 3.4-magnitude earthquake struck Quezon early Saturday, Nov. 16. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit  36 kilometers northeast of Jomalig at 3:30 a.m. Depth of focus was one kilometer. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.  

3.8-magnitude quake hits Zamboanga Sibugay

(Eagle News)–A 3.8-magnitude earthquake struck off Zamboanga Sibugay on Saturday, Nov. 16. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 21 kilometers southwest of Olutanga at 1:02 a.m. Depth of focus was 13 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

4.3-magnitude quake hits Occidental Mindoro

(Eagle News) — A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck Occidental Mindoro on Friday, November 15. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 82 kilometers southwest of Looc at 9:57 a.m. The quake was of tectonic origin. Depth of focus was 29 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.  

3.7-magnitude quake hits Cotabato

(Eagle News) — A 3.7-magnitude earthquake struck Cotabato on Friday, Nov. 15. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 12 kilometers southeast of Makilala at 2:27 p.m. Depth of focus was one kilometer. An instrumental intensity I was felt in Malungon, Sarangani. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

Suspect in killing of radio broadcaster in Negros Oriental surrenders

(Eagle News) — A suspect in the killing of a radio broadcaster in Negros Oriental has surrendered to authorities. Patrolman Roger Rubio of the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company gave himself up to his superior, Police Lt. Col. Judymar de Leon, around 6 p.m. on November 13.
