(Eagle News)–The Northern Luzon Expressway Corp. has released its list of updated toll plazas on NLEx and the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway amid the enhanced community quarantine. NLEx Corp. said the list was as of Tuesday, April 7: The ECQ, which was aimed at containing COVID-19, was supposed to last until mid-April. President Rodrigo Duterte has said however he was “inclined” to extend the same to April 30.

4.3-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Occidental
(Eagle News)–A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Tuesday, April 7. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 3:32 a.m., had its epicenter 400 kilometers southeast of Sarangani. It had a depth of focus of 222 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
Thunderstorm advisory hoisted over parts of N. Luzon
(Eagle News) — A thunderstorm advisory has been hoisted over parts of Northern Luzon. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to occasionally heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over Quezon in Isabela and Paracelis in Mountain Province. (Eagle News)–The Northern Luzon Expressway Corp. has released its list of toll plazas on NLEx and the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway amid the enhanced community quarantine. NLEx Corp. said the list was as of Monday, April 6: NLEx said the list would be updated if there are changes. The enhanced community quarantine, which is expected to end mid-April, was aimed at containing the coronavirus disease 2019, which has killed over 100 people in the Philippines so far.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 4:33 a.m., had its epicenter 38 kilometers southwest of Lubang. Depth of focus was 18 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
4.6-magnitude quake hits Eastern Samar
(Eagle News)–A 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck Eastern Samar today, April 3. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 12:27 p.m., had its epicenter 53 kilometers southeast of Guiuan. It had a depth of focus of 43 kilometers. The following instrumental intensity was recorded: Intensity I – Palo, Leyte and Surigao City, Surigao del Norte No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

NLEx Corp. said the list was as of Friday, April 3: It said it would make updates to the list should there be changes within the day. Luzon was placed under an enhanced community quarantine in a bid to contain the coronavirus disease 2019.
