SWS: Almost half of Filipinos expect their lives to improve in next 12 months

(Eagle News)–Almost half of Filipinos expect their personal quality of life to improve in the next 12 months, a Social Weather Stations survey found. The September 27 to 30 survey found  46% of adults expect their personal quality of life to improve next year, while 5% expect it to get worse. DOH confirms country’s first-ever case of vape-related illness

(Eagle News) — The Department of Health has confirmed the country’s first-ever case of vape-related sickness. According to the DOH, a 16-year-old girl sustained e-cigarette or vaping product use-associated lung injury or EVALI after using e-cigarettes  for six months. The DOH said the girl, who was not identified, was admitted to a hospital’s intensive care unit on Nov. 12 after experiencing extreme shortness of breath.
