(Eagle News)–Almost half of Filipinos expect their personal quality of life to improve in the next 12 months, a Social Weather Stations survey found.
The September 27 to 30 survey found 46% of adults expect their personal quality of life to improve next year, while 5% expect it to get worse.
This gives a net personal optimists score of +41, lower than the +42 in June and +47 in March, all classified as excellent.
The survey also said 36% of Filipinos said their lives improved, while 25% said their lives worsened in the last 12 months.
This translates to a net gainers score of +11, which is lower than the +13 in June and +17 in March, classified as very high.
The survey made use of face-to-face interviews of 1,800 adults (18 years old and above) nationwide: 600 each in Balance Luzon and Mindanao, and 300 each in Metro Manila and the Visayas.
Sampling error margins were pegged at ±2.3% for national percentages, ±4% each for Balance Luzon and Mindanao, and ±6% each for Metro Manila and the Visayas.
