MRT-3 extends trial period for first set of Dalian trains

(Eagle News)–The Metro Rail Transit-3 has extended the period the first set of Dalian trains will run on the tracks. (Eagle News) — A thunderstorm advisory has been hoisted over Metro Manila and other areas. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to heavy rainshowers with possible lightning and strong winds are also expected over Bulaca, Rizal and Quezon within the next one to two hours. “All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides,” PAGASA said.

Around 1000 Malasakit help kits to be distributed in each NAIA terminal

(Eagle News)–The Manila International Airport Authority will distribute around 1000 Malasakit help kits in each Ninoy Aquino International Airport terminal. The MIAA said the kits, which contain drinks, light snacks and toiletries, will be distributed as authorities anticipate an increased volume of passengers in the next days.
