The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said a yellow rainfall warning has been hoisted over parts of Mindanao due to a low pressure area embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone.
PAGASA said the warning, which means heavy rains are expected, is up over Jose Abad Santos, Don Marcelino, Malita in Davao Occidental and in Glan, Malapatan, Alabel in Sarangani.
Flooding in flood-prone areas is expected.
