MIAA allocates 400 additional parking slots at NAIA Terminal 1
(Eagle News)—The Manila International Airport Authority has allocated more parking slots at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1. In an advisory, MIAA said the additional 200 slots was “in response to the growing number of airport users.” The airport authority said the additional slots are in Parking C which was previously designated as parking for airport transport providers. “Standard parking fees apply to all users,” MIAA said.
4.1-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Sur
(Eagle News)—A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Sur on Saturday, May 11. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 64 kilometers southeast of Marihatag at 7:05 a.m. The depth of focus of the quake was 19 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
