Yellow rainfall warning hoisted over parts of Visayas

(Eagle News) — A yellow rainfall warning has been hoisted over parts of Visayas. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Samar and Eastern Samar are under the alert, which means flooding is possible in low-lying areas. Landslides in mountainous areas are also possible. PAGASA said light to moderate rains are being felt in Cebu, Camotes Island, Bohol, Southern Leyte, Negros Oriental and Biliran.

(Eagle News)–A yellow rainfall warning has been hoisted over parts of Mindanao due to a low pressure area embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the warning, which means heavy rains are expected, is up over Jose Abad Santos, Don Marcelino, Malita in Davao Occidental and in  Glan, Malapatan, Alabel in Sarangani.
