Yellow rainfall warning hoisted over parts of N. Luzon

(Eagle News)–A yellow rainfall warning has been hoisted over parts of Northern Luzon.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said under the alert in particular are Pangasinan and Kayapa, Sta.Fe, Aritao, and Ambaguio in Nueva Vizcaya.

PAGASA said moderate  to at times heavy rains are so far affecting the rest of Nueva Vizcaya, particularly Bagabag, Bambang, Bayombong, Kasibu, Quezon, Solano and Villaverde; and Ifugao, specifically in Tinoc and  Asipulo.

The weather bureau said these may persist within two to three hours.

Light to moderate rains, on the other hand are affecting portions of Quirino and other parts of NuevaVizcaya–Alfonso Castaneda, Dupax del Sur, Dupax Del Norte and Diadi.

“The public and the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices concerned are advised to monitor the weather condition and watch for the next advisory to be issued at 11:00 AM today,” PAGASA said.
