PAGASA: Easterlies affecting PHL

(Eagle News)–The easterlies are affecting the country. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said as a result, Metro Manila will have cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms. Flashfloods and landslides during severe thunderstorms are possible. The rest of the country, PAGASA said, will experience the same conditions. According to the weather bureau, the entire country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.

(Eagle News)–The shear line is affecting the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the northeast monsoon is also affecting Luzon and the rest of Visayas. PAGASA monitoring tropical depression off Palawan, LPA off Surigao del Sur

Southwest monsoon affecting western section of Luzon (Eagle News) — The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration is monitoring a tropical depression off Kalayaan Island in Palawan, outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility. “Enteng” intensifies into a tropical storm

(Eagle News)–“Enteng” has intensified into a tropical storm. Light rains to prevail in parts of PHL

(Eagle News)–Light rains are expected in parts of the country as the tail-end of a cold front affects Northern Luzon. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said in its recent update that Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos Region and the province of Aurora will experience cloudy skies with light rains.
