(Eagle News)-A 4.0-magnitude quake struck Batangas on Monday, Jan. 13. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 9:07 a.m. , had its epicenter 3 kilometers southwest of Laurel. It had a depth of focus of 7 kilometers. An instrumental intensity I was recorded in Tagaytay City. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

(Eagle News)–The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology has issued a Taal volcano advisory, with “Tisoy’s” track expected to include Calabarzon. Crater lake of Taal Volcano
The One of the beautiful places that can be found in Talisay, Batangas is the “Crater Lake.” This crater is inside of the main caldera of the Volcano Island and it can be accessed by going around the crater to the west side of the island.
