3.3-magnitude quake strikes Batangas

(Eagle News)–A 3.3-magnitude earthquake struck Batangas on Tuesday, Jan. 14. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 8:27 a.m. had its epicenter 3 kilometers northeast of Calaca. PHIVOLCS said the depth of focus was 6 kilometers. An intensity II was felt in Tagaytay. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
